is a leading supplier of drainage and landscaping products, seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented

Project Manager

to support our specification and sales operations within the contractor community. This role combines project management with technical sales support, ensuring our products are properly specified, quoted, and coordinated for commercial and institutional construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

This role plays a pivotal part in driving sales through active project tracking, technical documentation, and relationship management with contracting firms.

Project Tracking & Lead Generation

Specification Sourcing:

Monitor industry resources and construction intelligence tools to identify new projects and uncover opportunities where our products may be specified.

Platform Development:

Research and recommend new digital tools or platforms that enhance product specification access and collaboration with design and contractor teams.

Project Follow-Up:

Consistently track the status of ongoing projects (e.g., bidding phases, construction timelines, procurement schedules) to anticipate contractor needs and maintain sales continuity.

Technical Sales & Order Processing

Bidding & Quoting:

Prepare and submit accurate technical documentation and pricing for contractors bidding on projects where our products are specified or under consideration.

Order Fulfillment:

Oversee the complete lifecycle of project-related orders, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and effective delivery coordination.

Documentation:

Maintain organized and detailed project files, including submittals, quotes, and order histories to support contractors and internal teams.

Relationship Management

Contractor Relations:

Build and sustain strong relationships with contractors and general contractors to secure repeat business, manage expectations, and act as a primary point of contact for logistics and technical inquiries.

Qualifications

Experience in Project Management, Inside Sales, Technical Sales, or Estimating within construction or related industries. Strong understanding of construction bidding, submittals, and the interpretation of technical specifications. Familiarity with tools used for identifying construction leads or tracking project activity. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, especially for managing technical documents and order workflows. Proficiency with business software systems used for order processing, project tracking, or customer management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical details clearly to diverse stakeholders.
