Project Manager
to lead projects from design to delivery while ensuring technical accuracy, customer satisfaction, and seamless coordination across teams.
Position Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of custom fabrication and industrial installation projects. This role requires strong leadership, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal departments. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, confident in managing timelines and budgets, and capable of navigating the unique challenges of a dynamic, field-based industry.
Key Responsibilities
Lead projects from conceptualization through fabrication, delivery, and installation
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and subcontractors, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout each phase
Create estimates, quotes and invoices for projects
Develop project plans, track milestones, and manage timelines, resources and budgets
Collaborate with designers, welders, and field crews to ensure technical specifications and quality standards are met
Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment while optimizing efficiency
Resolve project challenges promptly while maintaining professionalism and customer satisfaction
Prepare and interpret technical documents including project scopes, work orders, and drawings
Maintain detailed records and progress reports for internal tracking and client updates
Represent JPR Industries with integrity and professionalism on job sites, in meetings, and during client interactions
Qualifications & Assets
Proven experience managing industrial, fabrication, or construction projects
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
Ability to accurately estimate, quote and invoice projects
Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and logistics
Familiarity with welding processes and shop/field fabrication practices is a strong asset
SolidWorks experience is considered an asset but not required.
Previous exposure to agricultural or material handling projects is an advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract required
