PBN Construction is a trusted and growing construction company that has built a strong reputation for reliability, safety, and innovation, delivering a broad range of services including commercial, industrial, and civil construction, aggregate crushing, paving, and retail material sales. We have secured an exciting long-term project that requires a Senior Project Manager to join our Civil Earthworks Team.

About the Role:



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead a major civil earthworks project. This is a long-term opportunity for an individual who thrives in complex project environments and has a proven record of successfully managing large-scale civil construction projects from start to finish.

The position will initially be office-based full-time during the planning and pre-construction stages. Once construction begins, the schedule will transition to a 2 weeks on then 2 weeks off schedule.

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overall project delivery, ensuring the project is executed safely, efficiently, within budget, and in accordance with all specifications and quality standards. You will provide leadership and strategic direction to a large integrated team, coordinate closely with the client, and play a key role in ensuring project success.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning and design coordination to construction and close-out.

Develop, manage, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and cash flow projections.

Oversee project controls, forecasting, reporting, and cost tracking for the $50-70 million annual civil earthworks project.

Ensure all work complies with contract requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

Manage and mentor project coordinators, cost controllers, HSE coordinators, QA/QC coordinators, and other site teams to achieve project goals.

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure alignment with project scope and timelines.

Prepare and present progress reports, change orders, and risk assessments to senior management and the client.

Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project performance.

Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams through proactive communication and problem-solving.

Promote and maintain a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all phases of the project.

Qualifications & Experience:



Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in civil construction, with at least 5 years in a senior project management capacity.

Demonstrated success managing large-scale civil or earthworks projects ($30M+).

Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets in the $50-70 million annual range.

Proven ability to lead diverse teams and coordinate complex operations in remote or industrial environments.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project)

Strong understanding of contracts, procurement processes, and risk management practices.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel or work on rotation as required.
