Strata Development Corporation (Strata) is currently looking to recruit a

Project Manager to join our team and assist with various commercial construction projects. We are a Construction Management company based out of Saskatoon, SK with all of our work in Saskatoon and the surrounding area. We offer competitive wages and a benefits plan for our employees.

Our Projects:



Our projects range from commercial tenant improvements and renovations, new commercial builds, exterior facade renovations, as well as commercial design-builds.

Most of our contracts are Construction Management contracts so the Project Manager must be very competent in contract administration, cost control, and cost forecasting.

Responsibilities:



Assume responsibilities for client interface, project scheduling, cost control, and change requests Engage in on-site coordination of sub-contractors and consultants Conduct analyses and oversee administrative operations related to budgeting, sub-contracting, planning and management processes Conduct site investigations, document preparation, and coordinate the approval process Establish and maintain schedule, implement metrics and budgets Understand client processes and ensure consistency across projects Analyze and evaluate contracts, tenders, and work-related documentation Document, schedule and attend project meetings, site visits, commissioning, warranty work, deficiency checks and safety meetings

Qualifications:



Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience in the commercial construction industry specifically relating to: Scheduling Cost control Contract administration Change control Quality control

Requirements:



Valid Class 5 Driver's License Experience in a construction-based project environment Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time Working proficiency with MS Project for the scheduling and tracking of projects Professional presentation with excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated and eager to learn and grow professionally within a team environment A results-oriented approach with the ability to take responsibility Strong prioritization and time management skills needed to complete tasks within deadlines Strong computer skills in the MS Office, particularly in Word and Excel

The following would be considered assets:

A university degree or diploma in engineering or architectural sciences Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) as an Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Professional Project Management Professional (PMP) Experience working with Design-Build projects
