The PM is an effective facilitator who delivers high-quality results and brings excellent communication, planning, and organization skills to the team. The project manager will take full control of new client project initiatives and manage both the client relationship and Avalon's consulting team, to deliver projects on time and on budget that provide value to our customers.


Location: Montreal Office



Hybrid: 3 Days Minimum in Person per Week






Responsibilities:



Lead the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing of supply chain execution projects, operations assessments and/or transformations Foster teamwork and communication between teams and serve as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders Develop and maintain project plans inclusive of budget and resources utilization schedules and report project status to stakeholders Leveraging their resources and knowledge to achieve project goals and complete deliverables on-time Provide clear and concise status updates on progress, potential issues and roadblocks and assist the leadership team with managing project risks Assist in designing and implementing process change Facilitate meetings, design workshops, testing activities, and post go live support, keeping a keen eye on quality Ensure that the project follows best methodology, governance, and quality deliverables Maintain his network active, identify new business opportunities and takes part in new sales initiatives Continuously improve professional skills through continuous training. Ensure project success which is measured as on time, on budget and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in operations management, Logistics, Business Analysis, or Industrial Engineering At least five years of experience in consulting, supply chain management or operations management Advance knowledge of a structured project management methodology and practices - PMP certification preferred Experience with Smartsheet or other project management system is an asset Experience supporting supply chain technologies such as WMS/TMS/ERP an asset Functional experience in material handling/flow, warehouse management, cost reduction and operations improvement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professionalism, enthusiasm, and people skills are a must. Proven ability to plan, manage and monitor multiple projects simultaneously Fluency in French and English, - oral and written, is a must. Ability to travel throughout North America;
