At JP Custom Homes, we are seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and overseeing various projects from start to finish and aligned with our strategic goals. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
Complete building permit applications and site plans
Order materials and manage sub-trade schedules
Coordinate and review inspections with all stakeholders
Conduct quality control assessments in coordination with overall program
Maintain safety standards on site and coordinate safety program among
Supervise team members, providing guidance and support as well as on the job training
Monitor project performance including resource management
Manage risks and issues proactively, developing mitigation strategies as needed
Skills
Degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Engineering Technology is considered an asset but not a requirement
Proficiency communication skills and ability to work with others
Excellent documentation skills
Knowledge of Salesforce for managing client relationships and project implementations.
Ability to supervise team members effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Willingness to get your hands dirty
Wage will be based on relevant skills and experience. The ideal candidate has 5-10 years experience, but new graduates with the right attitude are encouraged to apply!
