Role Summary

As the Project Manager - Product Operations, you are responsible for planning and executing cross-functional projects related to ongoing compliance, quality, and management of Eminence\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio of 150+ cosmetics, professional use, and over-the-counter (OTC) drug products. You will manage projects from inception to completion, mapping processes and identifying resources to keep projects on track and achieve desired outcomes. Your responsibilities will also include serving as a subject matter expert on product compliance and quality, as required. In this role, you will report directly to the VP of Product & Education and work in collaboration with all members of the Product Development Team.

Responsibilities

  • Understand scope, objectives, and key decisions on all projects while championing project management best practices, process improvements, and workflow efficiencies
  • Schedule, host, and attend key project status meetings with stakeholders
  • Utilize Project Management software to track and communicate information and tasks; make recommendations on best ways to use PM software and train Team-members as needed
  • Develop tools as needed to track information and action items in a consistent and easily accessible way
  • Enhance and maintain electronic document and content management systems
  • Develop and manage Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) library for compliance, quality, and other required projects, ensuring that key processes are documented, kept up-to-date, and communicated
  • Coordinate project debriefs, ensuring learnings and successes are documented, communicated, and implemented into future projects
  • Support VP of Product & Education with resourcing information and monthly view of resource needs
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of compliance requirements in the markets Eminence distributes to
  • Partner with the Product Regulatory Specialist to identify how regulation changes impact Eminence products and conduct regular audits
  • Develop and manage critical paths and project plans for compliance-related projects
  • Create and manage a timeline, including critical path dates and milestones, for non-launch and ad-hoc projects, including those driven by quality, formulation, and packaging needs
  • Develop processes and tools for managing quality escalations and reporting; act as the escalation point within Product Development for product quality issues
Qualifications
  • Any combination of education or experience that would be equivalent to a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business administration, chemistry, biochemistry, biology or a related field
  • Minimum 8-10 years of Project Management experience, including process development, implementation, and evaluation
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience managing large, complex, cross-functional projects involving internal stakeholders, external partners, and senior leaders
  • Knowledge and experience with change management best practices
  • Project Management software experience (e.g., Asana, Microsoft Project, Excel)
  • Experience rolling out new PM software or technology tools, including training teams, is an asset
  • Experience in the cosmetics industry or a related field (e.g., pharmaceutical, dietary supplement, medical device), including working knowledge of product regulations and/or quality best practices, preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is an asset
  • Highly developed and demonstrated leadership ability, interpersonal skills, and written/oral communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized, effective at time management, and ability to handle confidential information
