We are currently searching for a driven professional to join our Operations Team in the position of Project Manager - Product Development International. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager of Product Development International and play a pivotal role in supporting the end-to-end commercialization of new products for our European and International Markets.

As the Project Manager, Product Development International you will..

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, in alignment with business goals and strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and regulatory departments, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct regular project meetings, facilitate effective communication, and provide guidance to team members to keep projects on track.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively implement corrective actions to ensure timely completion.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as senior management, sales, and finance, to gather project requirements, align objectives, and manage expectations.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and regulatory agencies, to establish strategic partnerships and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Regularly communicate project updates, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders, providing transparency and fostering a collaborative environment.
Risk Management:
  • Identify potential project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate risk mitigation measures to ensure project success.
  • Anticipate and proactively address any challenges that may arise during the product development and commercialization process.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and quality management systems throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with regulatory and quality assurance teams to navigate complex regulatory requirements and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across projects.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify areas for process improvement, streamline workflows, and drive operational excellence.
  • Regularly evaluate project performance and lessons learned, implementing best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous learning within the project team.
Reporting and Documentation:
  • Generate accurate and timely project reports, providing insights on key performance indicators (KPIs), project milestones, and financial metrics.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, risk registers, and change requests.
  • Ensure project documentation is organized, easily accessible, and in compliance with record-keeping requirements.

  • Bachelor\'s degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, preferably in the product development or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience working in a production environment is highly valued, specifically in the cannabis, pharmaceutical or food manufacturing industries
  • PMP designation or equivalent certification is an asset
