Job Description

Electrical Solutions is currently seeking a qualified Project Manager to join our team for construction projects located in the Prince George and surrounding areas. The Project Manager will be responsible for working as a team to provide quality project delivery through efficient management of people and resources.

Qualifications:

Certified Red Seal Electrician with Field Experience. Field Safety Representative Class A or B. Willingness to learn and work as a team. Experience as project lead or related management experience. Strong attention to detail. Good organizational skills and time management. Experience with Microsoft suite is required and Accubid estimating program or similar is an asset. Valid Class 5 Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities:

Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and manage overall project engineering budgets, change orders and receivables. Deliver the project according to contractual requirements by managing the scope, quality, budget, schedule, resources, risk, and issues throughout project lifecycle. Lead the project delivery team and communicate clear objectives for the team to understand & achieve project goals as per client's requirements. Coordinate project resources according to requirements. Develop a detailed project plan and lead the execution process. Track and report performance against deliverables, lead initiatives to correct any deviation from the plan. Implement best practices and standardized procedures to maximize productivity and control. Responsible for assuring safe working and health practices. Support and mentor project team members. Promote safe working culture on sites. Develop and manage project schedules. Maintain good relationship with suppliers. Prepare monthly progress invoices for projects. Identify potential project opportunities and customers.

Project Accounting & Financing Management:

Manage project budget/estimate. Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for each project. Work with your team to follow up with outstanding receivables
Position is salary and will be based on an individual's qualifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $45.00-50.00 per hour
