Interpro Technical Services has an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team in Port Coquitlam, part of the Greater Vancouver region. This role manages rotating equipment projects from start to finish, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget. It requires a solid foundation in mechanical engineering and the ability to manage scope, cost, and schedule while working closely with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities
Partner with sales, engineering, operations, and customers to define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
Prepare estimates and proposals in response to RFPs and RFQs, including risk identification and technical assumptions.
Translate scope into detailed resource plans covering manpower, materials, subcontractors, and equipment.
Develop and maintain project controls including budgets, forecasts, schedules, and change management.
Lead project status reviews, provide weekly progress updates, and support forecasting for management.
Review inspection findings, oversee repair planning, and issue work packages.
Manage project closeout including final reporting, as-built documentation, lessons learned, and billing.
Build and maintain customer relationships by addressing inquiries and providing timely responses.
Support team goals in safety, quality, profitability, and schedule performance.
Travel to customer sites across Canada as required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent education and experience).
4-5 years' experience in rotating equipment (turbines, compressors, pumps, motors, etc.) repair, maintenance, or overhaul.
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Solid understanding of project management principles including scope, schedule, cost, and risk management.
Proficiency with project management tools/software such as MS Project, Primavera, or Smartsheet.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to meet demanding deadlines.
Commitment to safety in industrial and field environments.
Willingness to travel for short-term assignments across Canada.
Considered an Asset
Professional Engineer (P.Eng) registration or working toward registration.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
Familiarity with condition monitoring or predictive maintenance tools.
Knowledge of ERP or CMMS systems (SAP, Maximo, etc.).
Previous construction or industrial site safety training.
