Requirements

Millwork knowledge

: Deep understanding of custom cabinetry, architectural woodwork, and fabrication processes.

Project management

: Proven ability to manage timelines, budgets, and subcontractors from design through installation.

Drafting and CAD

: Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and other drafting tools to interpret and review shop drawings.

Construction coordination

: Experience working with architects, designers, and general contractors to align millwork with broader construction schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of millwork projects: estimating, scheduling, procurement, production, and installation. Act as liaison between clients, internal teams, and vendors. Ensure quality control and compliance with specifications. Manage change orders, RFIs, and documentation. Conduct site visits, including site measures and job site progress. Capable of both directing and executing the drafting process to deliver finalized shop drawings

Software and Tools

AutoCAD, Microvellum (asset if you have), Adobe Acrobat Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) Project management platforms : Innergy ERP

Soft Skills

Strong communication and leadership abilities Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure Attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines Valid driver's license and vehicle (required for site visits) This job will mainly be in the Ottawa office but may require going to the Maxville production facility a couple of times a month.
