PROJECT MANAGER

PROJECT MANAGER

Remote /Ottawa

The Project Manager provides project leadership on initiatives that are across functional areas and are strategic in nature.

The role will determine key milestones, deliverables, dependencies, issues, risks and outcomes. You will also track and manage all project related activities to ensure a successful completion.

You will supervise team members to ensure exceptional client services are delivered.

Job Responsibilities

You will execute projects, continually monitoring and evaluating project progress, to meet all project deliverables on time, within budget and at the highest quality standards.
You will anticipate and remove project issues.
You will document and maintain all project deliverables and action items; provide follow up on outstanding items to ensure all activities are met.
You will create and maintain timelines of activities; escalating to project sponsor issues that may impede project\'s success.
You will provide a monthly status update to the oversight team.
You will work with leaders in other functional areas to ensure all deliverables and action items are complete.
You will manage claimant correspondence and inquires as needed.
You will provide timely and accurate budget/estimate review and management, monthly forecasting.
You will have managerial responsibility including hiring, performance managing and termination management.
You will handle multiple projects concurrently.

Requirements

\xc2\xb7 University bachelor\'s degree

\xc2\xb7 Superior communication skills (written and verbal)

\xc2\xb7 Bilingual English French preferred

\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 2 years\' experience in a project management role.

\xc2\xb7 Experience seeing projects through to completion. Class action or compensation program administration preferred.

Strong comprehension of medical, legal and financial documentation preferred.
Proficient technical writing skillset
Strong analysis, computation and research skills with the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and time-sensitive projects, with changing priorities.
Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with an ability to approach a problem logically and systematically.
Ability to interact with all levels of managers and end-users in the organization.
Critical thinking skills and the ability to efficiently gather and process information in a fast-paced environment.
