SMI Automation Inc. is seeking one (1) full-time, experienced
Project Manager

Responsibilities
Coordinate internal resources for the flawless execution of projects.
High level planning and coordination of projects and direct liaison for clients.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
Develop project scopes, objectives, deliverables and ensuring technical feasibility.
Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Work with the scheduling department to ensure necessary resources are available to meet purchase order delivery date.
When purchase order is received schedule a cross functional kick off meeting with necessary team members.
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress, milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
Effective, clear, and timely communication of the project expectations to team members.
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project scope and the client.
Prepare progress reports, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
Proactively manage changes in the work, identify potential crises & contingency plans.
Report and escalate to upper management as needed.
Build, develop and manage the working relationship with the client(s).
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including end of project analysis identifying areas of success, areas of improvement and recommendations for future projects.
Work closely with the quality department to ensure 100% client satisfaction.
Requirements
Minimum five (5) years' proven experience in project management.
An educated background, specifically in the field of fabrication/ NDT testing, or at the minimum, proven experience in the manufacturing sector.
Must be a team player who can collaborate and utilize the skills and knowledge of the relevant team members.
Ability to conform to shifts in priorities due to the demands and timeline changes.
Excellent client-facing and negotiating skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and internal communication skills.
Must possess strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and program management software.
Ability to travel if needed.
Ability to travel to the United States.
Starting salary: from $75,000.00 per year.
Wage is dependent on experience.
