Turbine-X Energy Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead both strategic project execution. This on-site role is essential to delivering high-quality turbine and engine assemblies on time and within budget, while driving continuous improvement and team development
Key Responsibilities
Production Support
- Oversee daily operations of Internal and 3rd party manufacturing sites for both reciprocating and turbine packages
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are communicated and tracked
- Participate in daily production meetings and drive accountability through KPIs.
Project Management
- Plan and execute cross-functional projects including station setups, process improvements, and new product introductions.
- Collaborate with Engineering team to develop project budgets
- Create project schedules
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless execution.
- Lead daily/weekly project meetings
- Develop manpower plans and support operations teams in scheduling resources.
Process Optimization
- Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to improve efficiency.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
Qualifications, Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher strongly preferred.
- OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification is a plus.
Experience
- 7-10 years in manufacturing operations with 5+ years in project or production management.
- Expert level experience with MS Project or Primavera scheduling tools
- Experience with turbine gensets, Waukesha engines, or Baker Hughes NOVALT16 turbines.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems
Technical & Operational Skills
- Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical assembly and instrumentation.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specs.
- Skilled in production planning, workflow optimization, and vendor coordination.
Leadership & Communication
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage conflict, and drive accountability.
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Experience presenting operational metrics and project updates to senior leadership.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)KPIs
- Weekly Throughput - adherence to baseline schedules (joint with Operations team)
- Labor Efficiency: Actual vs. planned labor hours per unit. (joint with Operations team)
- On-Time Delivery: % of production orders completed on schedule. (joint with Operations team)
- Project Completion Rate: % of projects delivered on time and within scope.
- Budget Adherence: Variance between planned and actual project costs.
- Milestone Achievement: Timely completion of key project phases.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Internal feedback scores from cross-functional teams.
