The Project Manager is responsible for facilitating and supporting Waitlist Management Strategies using a Lean philosophy throughout the region aimed at improving safe, quality and timely client access to needed services provided by NLHS. The incumbent provides accurate wait time information to internal and external stakeholders including the Department of Health and Community Services as it relates to the diverse services provided by the organization.The project manager is a management position within NLHS\'s Planning, Performance and Evaluation department of the Quality and Learning Health Systems Portfolio. Primary accountabilities include providing subject matter expertise in wait times, monitoring and reporting wait time data, and implementation of a NLHS Wait List Management Strategy.The incumbent is a consultant and resource for NLHS and through this role will work collaboratively with programs and departments that maintain wait lists to develop wait list management programs and report, as required, regionally and provincially. At this time, the position is focused primarily on wait time management requirements with the Eastern Zones, however may change depending on provincial priorities for performance management and NLHS structure.Job Qualifications
Education
Bachelor\'s Degree in a health-related discipline is required.
Current registration/licensure in the relevant professional association is required if applicable.
Master\'s Degree is preferred.Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) and in-depth knowledge and experience in a health-related field.
Previous management experience is required.
Familiarity with the electronic OR Manager software system would be considered an asset.
Experience in data management, information systems, and analytics and be skilled in Microsoft office, specifically Excel.Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
