Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are a growing luxury custom home and major renovation company seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects from pre-construction through completion. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-end, detail-driven environment and is comfortable taking full ownership of schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships.

You will work closely with the owner and leadership team while managing day-to-day project execution. As a smaller company, this is a hands-on role with real responsibility, autonomy, and room to grow.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Leadership

Manage multiple high-end residential projects from start to finish Oversee all phases of construction including pre-construction, active build, and close-out Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a luxury standard of quality
Budget and Cost Control

Work with detailed project budgets and cost tracking Review and approve invoices, change orders, and subcontractor billings Proactively identify cost risks and opportunities for efficiency Maintain accurate financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle
Scheduling and Planning

Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction schedules Coordinate sequencing of trades, inspections, and deliveries Anticipate delays and adjust schedules to minimize impact Manage critical path items closely
Client Experience

Act as the primary point of contact for clients during construction Communicate clearly, professionally, and proactively Manage client expectations while delivering a premium experience Lead site meetings and provide regular progress updates
Subcontractor and Team Management

Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers Ensure trades meet quality, safety, and schedule expectations Enforce company standards, site procedures, and documentation Lead on-site teams with professionalism and accountability
Quality Control

Maintain high standards of workmanship consistent with luxury construction Identify deficiencies early and ensure timely resolution Conduct regular site walks and inspections Ensure finished work meets design intent and client expectations
Collaboration and Systems

Work closely with the owner on strategy, problem-solving, and decision-making Use project management software for schedules, budgets, daily logs, and documentation Contribute to improving systems, processes, and workflows as the company grows
QUALIFICATIONS

Required

5+ years of experience managing residential construction projects Strong understanding of budgets, schedules, and construction sequencing Experience with high-end custom homes or major renovations Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail Comfortable working in a smaller company environment with real responsibility
Preferred

Luxury residential construction experience Familiarity with construction project management software Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability Experience working closely with ownership or leadership teams

We are based out of New Westminster, but take on projects all over the lower mainland, including Vancouver, North Vancouver, and other surrounding areas

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47.00-$52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
