What youll do:

• Assist with full-cycle project management including estimates, budget, schedules, procurement, quality, and risk.
• Assist in managing the construction of the project in accordance with design, budget and an unwavering commitment to safety.

Prepare and update all project documentation including work progress, changes in scope, issues, progress billings.

• Prepare and update project schedules and monitor progress from original estimates, plans and specifications.
• Assist operations with contract revisions (i.e., change orders).
• Review work in progress (WIP) on a weekly/monthly basis to ensure project is progressing on time and on budget.
• Coordinate closeout meetings to review outstanding items and deficiency list.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

What youll bring:

• Certificate or diploma in Project Management or related field.
• Working towards PMP designation is an asset.
• 5+ years of progressive construction experience.
• Knowledge and application of safety and environment principles/procedures/legislation.
• Ability to identify and manage risk on construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience implementing a strong safety culture.
• Strong project leadership and organizational effectiveness to ensure successful completion of full cycle design and industrial projects.
• Strong computer skills including familiarity with various Microsoft Office Applications.
• Willing and able to travel on a rotational basis (To Labrador and Maritimes)
• Team player and ability to work with diverse groups including supervisors, office, and field staff.
• Ability to focus on safe and effective execution of multiple projects.
