Project Manager
to lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance our operations.
This position reports directly to the Director of Engineering & Maintenance and plays a vital role in ensuring key initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
What You'll Do
1. Lead Projects Across the Full Lifecycle
Manage operations and manufacturing improvement projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria with internal stakeholders.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
Ensure compliance with standards and conduct post-project reviews for continuous learning.
2. Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams
Lead meetings and decision-making across departments such as engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality.
Act as a communication hub, ensuring alignment and accountability across the organization.
Engage with technical teams and vendors to maintain quality and execution timelines.
3. Monitor Progress & Manage Risks
Track progress against project scope, schedule, and budget.
Identify risks and remove roadblocks through proactive management.
Support operational improvements by driving structure, focus, and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Communicate Results
Deliver clear, concise project updates and dashboards to senior leadership.
Provide visibility into milestones, resourcing needs, and key risks or impacts.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing insights from completed projects.
What You Bring
1) Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience managing complex projects--ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Experience with project management software (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, etc.).
2) Technical & Leadership Skills:
Solid understanding of PM methodologies.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and navigate competing priorities.
Risk and resource management expertise.
Strong skills in planning, tracking, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
3) Knowledge & Mindset:
Working knowledge of manufacturing environments, terminology, and process flow.
A continuous improvement mindset and experience with change management are assets.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
