Job Description

The Project Manager is the central point of contact between all project stakeholders (sponsor, managers, project stakeholders, etc.) for project delivery. This includes the organizations and processes necessary to manage resources from BRP's business units and external partners.



YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:



Ensures the project is completed in accordance with the strategic objectives of the organization and/or business unit.



Develops and drafts the project plan and validates/refines resource plans.



Submits assignment requests for all project contributors.



Ensures that requested resources are approved and allocated to their project(s) and submits change requests, if applicable.



Completes standard PMO deliverables.



Is responsible and accountable for all aspects of project delivery, within the scope defined by the sponsor, as outlined below, including, but not limited to:



Contributing to the updating of the business case, prerequisites, and project brief.



Managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, change requests, quality, issues, and roadblocks.



Assigning tasks. - Managing project interdependencies.



Validating invoices from external suppliers.



Preparing and presenting progress reports to the sponsor and the Steering Committee(s), and providing information to the project office.



Presenting the project to various committees.



Preparing and presenting to the various gating meetings for phase transitions.



Coordinating and supporting the transition to operations (implementation, post-implementation, etc.).



Ensuring adherence to established processes:

weekly status updates in the system, creation of Requests for Change (RFCs) for any project changes, compliance with existing templates, etc.



Ensuring the approval of all key deliverables and that the project office's project management methodology framework is applied.



Supervising all contributors assigned to the project (business analysts, application manager, integration solutions architect, collaborators such as HR, communications, etc.) and approving timesheets.



Make decisions regarding project management and content by consulting key people on your team and other stakeholders.



YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.



Ten to fifteen years of project management experience.



A recognized project management certification (PMP, ACP, PSM, etc.) is an asset.



Experience managing complex application and logistics projects



Strong understanding of business, functional, and corporate processes.



Experience working in matrix organizations.



Bilingualism:

French and English (written and spoken) in order to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec, or unilingual English speaker on a daily basis.
