Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Industrial Project Manager with experience managing capital projects in the food and beverage industry. The successful candidate will lead projects from planning to execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams, clients, and contractors to deliver on time, within scope, and on budget.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong technical background, project management skills, and familiarity with the operational needs of manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage capital projects from design through to commissioning in industrial environments. Oversee project scope, budget, schedules, risk management, and reporting. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and plant personnel to ensure seamless project execution. Lead site visits, track project milestones, and resolve on-site issues as needed. Prepare project documentation including RFQs, scopes of work, cost estimates, and progress reports. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of project management experience in industrial or food & beverage environments. Strong knowledge of capital project execution, utility systems, and plant operations. Background in engineering or technical trades (Mechanical or Process Engineering preferred). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. P.Eng designation or eligibility (preferred but not mandatory). PMP certification is a plus but not required. Proficiency with project planning and management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD). Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required. Willingness to travel to job sites across Ontario.
