. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing projects from initiation to completion and leading teams in complex mechanical construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and oversee mechanical construction projects, including valve installations, piping systems, and equipment installation.
Manage day-to-day project activities, ensuring compliance with scope, budget, schedule, safety, and quality requirements.
Collaborate with engineers, trades, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
Prepare project estimates, schedules, procurement plans, and submittals.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
Ensure all work complies with local codes, health and safety standards, and company policies.
Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and addressing issues promptly.
Track project progress and manage change orders and cost controls.
Lead site meetings, oversee documentation, and resolve field issues in real time.
Support commissioning, testing, and final turnover activities.
Qualifications:
5+ years of project management experience
in industrial or mechanical construction environments.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, piping, valves, pumps, and industrial equipment.
Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects, preferably in oil & gas, utilities, water treatment, or manufacturing sectors.
Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
PMP certification or equivalent is considered an asset.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficient with MS Project, AutoCAD, and project management tools/software.
Excellent communication and client management skills.
Valid G driver's license and ability to travel locally to job sites.

Experience:
managing mechanical construction projects: 5 years (preferred)
managing projects in an industrial or construction: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
