What will you do?
Manage and lead projects of varying scope, from small initiatives to large, complex deliverables.
Create documentation to capture customer requirements, project scope, objectives and deliver project on time, within scope and on budget.
Review incoming orders for technical and commercial accuracy, ensuring customer requirements and information align with Benshaw terms and conditions and contractual obligations; develop project plans and schedules accordingly.
Coordinate internal resources and third-party contractors for smooth project execution.
Oversee day-to-day project activities to ensure alignment with engineering and production requirements.
Track project progress, identify variances and implement corrective actions.
Identify potential risks or bottlenecks and propose mitigation strategies.
Conduct regular project meetings, report on milestones and maintain accurate documentation. Prepare progress reports, presentations and formal project updates for senior leadership.
Support process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing project delivery, reducing costs and improving production efficiency.
You will have:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or working towards designation.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business or a related field.
5+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in motor controls.
Exceptional customer service, time management, organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management tools (ex. MS Project or Excel) and ERP systems.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Create accurate and effective project documentation for internal and external teams.
Strong financial and analytical capabilities.
Knowledge of Ontario health and safety regulations and manufacturing compliance requirements.
Ability to build strong working relationships with customers, vendors and internal cross-functional teams.
The following qualifications would be considered an asset but are not required:
Experience working in ISO 9001 certified environments.
Technical knowledge of motor control components and assembly.
Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
