We are looking for a Project Manager to join our growing team. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills, an understanding of land development processes, and a passion for creating innovative solutions for clients. Focus will be on project planning, permitting and contractor coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Manage all aspects of land development projects, from concept to completion, ensuring successful delivery within budget, scope, and schedule.
Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their needs and expectations are met. Deliver client updates and reports.
Team Coordination: Lead multidisciplinary teams including engineers, architects, urban planners, and environmental consultants to achieve project goals.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects comply with zoning laws, environmental policies, and permitting requirements.
Budget & Resource Management: Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resources, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
Site Analysis & Feasibility: Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies, working closely with clients to understand their vision and provide recommendations.
Prepare and submit building permits and planning applications
Liase with municipal and government staff
Research zoning bylaws, codes and policies
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in land development, project management, or a similar consulting role.
Proven experience managing land development projects, including site planning, permitting, environmental review, and construction management.
Strong knowledge of local zoning and land use regulations (Ontario), environmental impact assessments, and permitting processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Mondays.com, or similar).
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
