Duties



Lead the full project management lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, design and closure. Develop comprehensive project plans that define scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with owners, stakeholders, authorities, and consultants to accurately capture business needs and translate them into detailed project specifications. Manage project schedules through effective scope management, risk mitigation strategies, and earned value management techniques to ensure on-time delivery within budget. Oversee program development and design by applying Lean Six Sigma principles, process mapping, business process modelling, and continuous improvement methodologies such as Kaizen. Coordinate project teams by supervising team members' activities, fostering collaboration through meeting facilitation and conflict management to maintain high morale and productivity. Receive, record and initiate directions from the Principal Architect Provide direction, guidance and encouragement to architectural technologists Promote teamwork and support the team

Requirements



5+ years' experience in the Architectural industry. Working knowledge of construction practices, Building Codes and Land Use bylaws. Proven experience supervising teams in complex project environments with a strong understanding of project management methodologies Proficiency with project management software tools like Microsoft Project, REVIT, AutoCAD, MS Office and Adobe. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, adept at presentation skills and technical writing to convey complex information clearly. Knowledge of data collection and vendor management to support informed decision-making. Experience with managing a team to meet deadlines on multiple projects. Experience with risk management practices and negotiation skills to resolve conflicts efficiently.
