Job Description

As Project Manager, Knowledge Transfer Program you will lead the knowledge management and transfer strategy between Chantier Davie Canada Inc. and Helsinki Shipyard. The objective is to maximize the transfer of knowledge and the adoption of best practices between the two shipyards. This program is an essential component of the Polar Icebreaker Program. A Steering Committee composed of members of management will be established to approve strategies, action plans, and program participants. This committee will guide and support you in the implementation of this important and strategic initiative for Davie. More specifically you will :


Develop and implement an integrated vision for knowledge transfer between the Levis and Helsinki shipyards as part of the Polar Icebreaker construction program. Define a structured knowledge transfer program that promotes the sharing of expertise and the adoption of best practices between the two shipyards. Collaborate with functional leaders to establish a strategy that maximizes the transfer of skills across various roles within the organization. Design personalized learning paths by selecting appropriate trainers and structuring training content in a targeted and effective way. Work closely with the HR team to ensure the implementation of working conditions and participant rotation logistics, including accommodation, travel, and required authorizations (visas, permits, etc.). Oversee the overall management of the program, including matrix coordination of participants, change management, performance tracking, and budget compliance. Identify critical knowledge and map risks related to potential skill loss, then develop action plans to mitigate those risks. Design and implement mentoring, coaching, job shadowing, and knowledge documentation programs. Collaborate with HR, training, operations, and engineering teams to integrate knowledge transfer mechanisms into existing processes. Oversee knowledge management tools and personalized development paths for all targeted roles. Measure the impact of deployed strategies and adjust approaches based on performance indicators and feedback.

Requirements




Bachelor's degree in human resources management, training, or administration. Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in organizational development or training, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Expertise in talent management, instructional design, or knowledge management. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with strong abilities in collaboration and change management. Proficiency with digital knowledge management tools (LMS, knowledge bases, collaborative platforms). Availability to travel between Canada and Finland. French and English, both oral and written.
