JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for coordinating the delivery of multiple projects focusing on custom quotes, and to ensure they all are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget, and ensuring compliance with all governance processes.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain kitting custom quote process & tracking report by engaging key stakeholders and SMEs
Own the custom quote process from start to finish
+ Collect requests from cross functional team (Sales, Clinical, RFP team)
+ Work with relevant quoting team in different divisions for quoting cost build up
+ Work with relevant SMEs/Cross functional team to provide inputs/recommendations in regard to componentry & financials
+ Prepare final quote and present to the requestors
+ Maintain & track margin/budget model for all custom quotes. Develop a feasible project plan that achieves the goals and objectives of the project and aligns with the organization's overall business strategy
Manage external vendors (where applicable) to ensure they deliver against the standards we expect
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure successful completion of short and long term goals
Identify and manage project risks including the development of contingency plans
Forecast and manage changes to scope, budget or schedule and approve via a formal project change request; Improve existing processes and procedures by documenting current state and identifying opportunities to streamline
Create and report project status to executive committee.
Contribute to the shared knowledge base of the organization through phase and project lessons learned sessions and continually-develop and improve our project management approach, templates and processes
QUALIFICATIONS
One to three years direct work experience in project management capacity
Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or related field.
Proven experience in implementing organizational/business process
Proven experience of working in fast-paced, dynamic environment
Medical supplies/ custom quote/finance background is a strong asset
SAP experience considered an asset
Post-Secondary education in Medical Science, Business or equivalent experience
Project Management Methodologies Training or Certification. PMP designation is preferable
Fully proficient in the use of MS Project or other PM tools
