Overview

We are looking for a Project Manager who brings strong experience in commercial millwork and is comfortable managing the full cycle of sales, design, estimating, and project coordination. Most of the work will be focused on institutional, retail, hospitality, and other commercial environments. Experience with high-end custom homes is an asset, but the primary focus for this role commercial capability. The ideal candidate understands how commercial millwork packages are built and delivered, and is looking for an opportunity to shape this evolving role.

Responsibilities

Lead the sales, design, and estimating process for commercial millwork projects. Review and work from architectural drawings, design packages, finish schedules, and tender documents. Prepare accurate layouts, shop-drawing level designs, and pricing using Cabinet Vision . Meet clients, contractors, and consultants on-site to verify dimensions and clarify project requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, designers, and project teams. Prepare detailed proposals and support tender submissions for commercial opportunities. Coordinate internally with production, purchasing, and installation teams to ensure smooth project handoff and execution. Monitor project progress during fabrication and installation, helping resolve issues as they arise. Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities while maintaining a high standard of service and professionalism. Contribute to process improvements across sales, design, documentation, and project workflow.

Skills and Experience

3 or more years of experience in commercial millwork, cabinetry, or architectural woodwork Direct experience working on institutional, retail, or hospitality millwork projects Experience with custom homes is an asset Strong ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and site requirements Proficiency with Cabinet Vision or other millwork design software Strong understanding of materials, hardware, construction methods, and millwork detailing Skilled in estimating, pricing, and preparing detailed proposals Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship skills Ability to manage multiple active projects with attention to detail and follow-through Comfortable being client-facing while managing technical details and coordinating with contractors and design teams

Strong Assets

Experience working on AWMAC-standard projects Ability to produce and manage commercial millwork designs in Cabinet Vision Experience combining technical design work with strong client-facing communication Background working on both commercial and high-end residential millwork projects

Pay: $75,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
