Role Summary
The Project Manager (PM) will lead a portfolio of technology initiatives to modernize and expand the company's processes, systems, and reporting across multiple platform companies. The scope includes upgrading and extending SAP, advancing business intelligence/analytics, and maturing enterprise document management. A significant portion of the work is optimizing systems already in place--partnering with internal teams and external vendors to expand adoption, enable new capabilities, and improve integration--alongside selective new solution selections when needed. Initial implementation will focus on the flagship water operations and fulfillment business, followed by rollout to furniture manufacturing and other recycled product divisions.
Key Responsibilities
Own the portfolio roadmap across SAP, BI/analytics, document management; manage and other organizational solutions including scope, timelines, dependencies, and budgets across companies.
Drive system expansion and optimization: prioritize enhancements, integrations, and process improvements with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Establish and run clear governance (Steering updates, risk/issue management, change control); align work to sustainability and operational goals.
Lead selective system/vendor selection cycles when required: define approach, develop RFPs/RFIs, coordinate demos/PoCs, and partner with procurement/legal on contracting.
Coordinate resources (internal team, vendors, and contractors); monitor delivery quality and hold partners accountable to outcomes and SLAs.
Champion change management and adoption: ensure communications, training plans, and hypercare are in place for each release or improvement.
Provide executive-ready reporting on milestones, value realized, risks, and interdependencies across platform companies.
Qualifications & Skills
7+ years leading complex ERP/enterprise system programs or portfolios (manufacturing, supply chain, fulfillment experience valued).
Proven track record expanding/optimizing existing platforms (e.g., SAP, Power BI/analytics, document/content management) and leading integrations.
Hands-on experience with system/vendor selection and RFP processes when appropriate.
Strong stakeholder and vendor management; able to align cross-company needs and drive clear decisions.
Excellent communication and change leadership; experience enabling training/adoption and measuring value realization.
Familiarity with SAP and modern data/analytics stacks (asset).
This role will require in office work in our head office in Shelburne.
