Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic

Project Manager

to lead and oversee complex projects across various domains, including IT, product development, and organizational initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, extensive experience in project management methodologies, and proficiency with a wide array of tools and frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, and PMBOK. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive strategic initiatives, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure successful project delivery aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibility

Support network growth and scaling

Improve video quality on Sportsnet programing to compete with Amazon Monday Night Hockey

Address aging and end-of-life infrastructure and sustain service delivery for customers still reliant and our legacy video platforms

Support optimization of access network capacity, and make space for broadband growth"

Support for IPTV Set-tops in hospitality or bulk segments, or in west market

Sports bar segment, Xfinity TV had to be stopped and removed from businesses due to video sync issues

Need additional development on current IP Video Gateways to avoid network congestion and incompatible TVs

This PM will help enable IPTV solutions for Rogers Business customers. We require scaling to support business IPTV set-top boxes and commercial smart TV players.

This PM will also support end-to-end testing and provisioning of services for business customers.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From $60.00 per hour

IPTV Setup: 5 years (required) IT project management: 10 years (preferred) Telecom: 5 years (preferred)
