Summer 2026 Internship

Intership Summary

As a Project Manager Intern in Mechanical Engineering, you will have the chance to work in a young and dynamic team within our company's Manufacturing Engineering Department. You will be involved in various machine integration projects, as well as in the design of welding and/or sheet metal forming tools and jigs. In addition, you will support the maintenance team by carrying out equipment reliability projects, as well as failure analysis on machines and tools in our factories.

List of daily tasks:

Design systems and mechanical parts in 2D and 3D for assembly lines. Search and purchase equipment and mechanical components. Work with other engineers to integrate new products on our assembly lines. Conduct risk analyses to design safe and efficient workstations. Supervise factory execution of project-related work. Perform factory tests when integrating new processes/workstations.

Requirements

Bachelor's student in mechanical engineering.

Be available full-time (40 hours per week) for the entire duration of the internship (May to August 2026).

Taking a university course in the evening may be permitted, provided that it does not affect availability or performance during the internship. Any request to take a course at the same time must be approved by the employer before the start of the internship. The internship must be recognized and credited as part of your study program, in accordance with the requirements of your educational institution. Fluency in French and functional English. Attention for detail. Thoroughness. Creative spirit. Ability to work in a team. Focused on results and fulfillment of mandates. Leadership skills. Knowledge of Office suite software (intermediate knowledge of Excel). Knowledge of AutoCAD and Solidworks software (an asset).
