Salary Range: $80,935 - $116,344 / year. The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate\xe2\x80\x99s relevant education and experience, and would be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan. Salary will be prorated accordingly for part time roles.

Within the BC Centre for Disease Control, the Project Manager I leads and co-ordinates all aspects of the current projects and initiates new projects undertaken by Environmental Health Services (EHS). The Environmental Health program areas include drugs and toxins, radon, food safety, radiation, water quality, climate change, and air quality. Information technology is a key component to public health work and some of the Project Manager I\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio will involve implementing IT solutions. The role works with a variety of stakeholders, including technical subject matter experts, public health staff, health care professionals, and health authorities to achieve outcomes that benefit British Columbia. The Project Manager I ensures that new projects are established in a way to promote success and ensure that the project deliverables are completed on time and on budget. The Project Manager I identifies and tracks metrics as they relate to the project deliverables, and provides consultation, guidance and support to designated project staff, contractors and stakeholders.
