The Position:

The CSI Project Manager will report into the Manager of CSI Projects and External Partnerships and will be responsible for creating and executing on detailed project plans. This position will work closely with other project team members, CSI leadership, and as such the Project Manager should have strong people engagement and facilitation skills. The Project Manager should also possess very strong team building and team management skills with the ability to be seen as an inspirational leader by staff.

Here's what you will get to do:

Create project work plans in coordination with appropriate internal and external parties to establish project scope, deliverables, budgets, accountabilities, schedules, timelines, resources, monitoring, and post project audit/evaluation Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and relevant parties in a timely and clear fashion Manage the daily operational aspects of a project providing project management expertise and guidance, enforcing project standards, anticipating and troubleshooting issues and minimizing the hospital's exposure to risk Plan, schedule and manage project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools Develop, manage and deliver progress reports, project documentation, and presentations or outputs Conduct project end reviews and report on recommendations on lessons learned for quality improvement opportunities

Here's what you need to have:

University degree or College diploma or equivalent experience Demonstrated project management expertise, with hands-on experience overseeing projects from initiation to completion PMP certification is an asset Strong analytical capabilities, strategic thinking and business acumen Healthcare experience and/or experience with HIS is considered an asset Experience and understanding of how to effectively manage change, integration and improvement projects Strong familiarity with related management software, such as MS Project, Visio, MS Office Excellent presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written) Ability to articulate analytical results and tell a story Demonstrated experience in team and resource management Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities in a complex environment Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently handle several tasks simultaneously Internal Candidates who believe they possess the necessary qualifications and experience for this position and who have been in their current position for at least six (6) months are encouraged to apply.
