We are seeking a Project Manager with experience working in both new and existing hospital environment on a major capital projects to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects from start to finish, while ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. You will be working with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered successfully.

What your Responsibilities would be:

Lead and manage project teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget. Lead Client and Project Meetings and manage multiple stakeholders. Be a point of contact for the client and build the client relationship. Ensure client's interests are represented and respected for contractual and technical issues. Develop project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables. Monitor project progress and adjust project plans as necessary to ensure successful project completion. Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation plans and monitor project risks. Manage project budgets and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with project management standards and best practices. Lead capital projects on behalf of owners with varying sizes and complexity. Strategic advisor.

Qualifications

University Degree in Engineering. P. Eng. or PMP designation would be an asset. 8-10+ Years experience managing projects as owner's representative. Experience managing large-scale, complex projects from initiation to closure. Experience in Hospital or Clinics are a must. Ability to obtain security clearance. Strong computer skills, MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced understanding of Project Management methodologies. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to travel. Deep knowledge of various design and construction methodologies, project management models and financial management, contract law, and relevant legislation. Practical knowledge of procurement practices, bid preparation, and contracts.
