What this job involves:



JLL's Project & Development Services ("PDS") group is seeking a Project Manager to lead high-profile retail projects in the Maritime provinces.

This is an important "client-facing" role that requires heightened situational awareness, diplomacy, sensitivity, and a solid business acumen. The Project Manager will be interacting directly with clients fully accountable for JLL's performance in the delivery of project. What your day-to-day will look like:



Project Execution:

Deliver projects within scope, schedule, and budget while meeting client expectations and managing multiple concurrent projects at various development phase

Contract & Stakeholder Management:

Negotiate contracts, ensure accountability, and coordinate large teams including owners, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders

Process & Communication:

Implement project management processes, maintain proactive client communication, and produce detailed financial/schedule reports using custom PM technology

Meeting & Risk Management:

Lead project meetings with prompt documentation, proactively identify and mitigate project risks, and troubleshoot performance issues

Team Leadership:

Foster accountability, excellence, and collaboration while supervising, mentoring, and energizing team members

Relationship Building:

Cultivate business relationships with JLL peers, clients, owners, landlords, developers, and industry partners to build trust and collaboration

Business Development:

Network to position JLL as a PM leader, support new project pursuits, create completion case studies, and pursue continuing education opportunities

Financial Performance:

Manage JLL's financial performance per project and coordinate base building/tenant improvement scope negotiations



Required Qualifications:



Minimum of 5+ years of experience, delivering capital real estate "buildings" projects, including new construction, renovations, fit-outs, and/or upgrades.

Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or similar post-secondary education.

Must possess "Owner Representative" project management experience in a fee-for-service consulting environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills, articulate, responsive, and highly organized.

Skilled at MS Office suite of software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience with MS Project or other scheduling software.



Preferred Qualifications:



P.Eng. or similar professional designation is an asset

Project Management Professional (PMP) is an asset

Sustainability designation such as LEED, CSP, ENV SP is an asset
