We are currently seeking a

Project Manager - Commercial Doors, Frames & Hardware

to join our

Dartmouth, NS

team. The Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing customer base and sales volumes by developing a strong working knowledge of the door, frame, and architectural hardware industry together with providing all customers the highest level of service while adhering to corporate initiatives and policies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers on the phone, in-person, and electronically. Estimate product pricing for customer projects. Prepare job specific submittals for approval. Entry of orders, quotes and responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner. Coordinate product sourcing & arrival. Identify opportunities and grow business. Gain a strong working knowledge of the company's product offering and sourcing options. Interpret detailed architectural drawings and specifications. Prepare detailed submittals/drawings for customer approval and project use. Manage, detail, and order material for various projects ensuring products are delivered correct, on time, and on budget. Support and assist branch personnel, customers, architects, and vendors to meet project goals and deadlines.

 

Qualifications:

Proven experience in the Door, Frames, & Hardware industry. Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and materials. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management or scheduling software. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as working in a cohesive team environment. Full-time, on-site position. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
