Position Overview
We are looking for a
qualified and experienced Project Manager
to oversee residential renovation projects from planning through completion. You will manage budgets, timelines, trades, and client relationships--ensuring each project is delivered to HMH's high standards.
This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and solid experience in
general contracting, construction, or other home service sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget from start to finish.
Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and permitting processes.
Manage communication between clients, designers, and trades.
Track progress, resolve issues, and maintain project documentation.
Lead weekly progress meetings and deliver client updates.
Ensure compliance with the Ontario Building Code and health/safety standards.
Manage invoices, change orders, and progress draws.
Conduct quality control and oversee project closeout.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in
residential construction or renovation project management.
Strong understanding of
general contracting and home improvement workflows.
Proven ability to manage multiple renovation projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and municipal permit processes.
Proficiency in
project management software
(Buildertrend, Procore, or similar).
Valid G driver's license and reliable transportation.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with
ADUs, legal basements, or multifamily conversions.
Familiarity with scheduling tools (MS Project, Gantt charts, or similar).
Strong vendor/trade network within the GTA.
Experience managing clients in both residential and investor-based projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
