Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation

Pinchin is hiring a Project Manager in the Timmins location. As a successful candidate you can be in located in Sudbury or Sault Ste. Marie as long as you are able to make regular visits to Timmins.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Manager will oversee projects for a variety of clients and will work towards becoming the principal contact for a specific list of clients.

What you will be doing at Pinchin

• Perform Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and Environmental Remediations
• Prepare reports with recommendations
• Manage projects and ensure that they are completed on time and on budget
• Communicate with Clients and understand their project requirements
• Prepare proposals
• Participate in initiatives with the Marketing department and develop business development skills to build new client relationships and maintain existing ones
• Build leadership and mentorship skills by working with and mentoring junior staff

What you bring to the Pinchin team

• A Bachelors Degree in Science or Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Applied Science is not required, but is considered an asset
• A P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation is not required, but is considered an asset
• Experience with conducting and managing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments for transactional due diligence purposes
• Experience with conducting Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments in support of filing Records of Site Condition in accordance with O. Reg. 153/04
• Experience with other environmental disciplines, such as IEQ and mould, and working with designated substances such as asbestos, lead, etc. would be considered an asset
• Experience with invoicing, budgeting, and other areas of project related financial management
• Experience with business development initiatives and client interaction
• Valid drivers licence and insurance are required (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
• Strong communication skills & professional presentation
• Strong writing skills
• High level of attention to detail
