Role Summary


We are seeking a Project Manager with strong electrical construction expertise to manage projects from estimation through completion. This position is ideally suited for a self-driven professional who excels at both remote collaboration and independent decision-making. You will work directly with clients, manage multi-trade teams, coordinate project resources, and ensure strict adherence to Canadian codes, budgets, and timelines.

This is a remote, work-from-home role supporting clients and projects across Canada. Occasional travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities



Project Leadership:

Lead all phases of electrical projects (estimating, planning, budgeting, execution, close-out).

Client & Stakeholder Management:

Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Estimating & Scheduling:

Prepare or review estimates, coordinate schedules, and oversee manpower, materials, and logistics.

Change Orders & Documentation:

Manage change orders, regulatory compliance, reporting, and timely billing.

Communication & Collaboration:

Provide clear direction to project staff; facilitate meetings with multi-trade teams; ensure consistent client updates.

Risk & Code Compliance:

Identify risks, implement solutions, and maintain compliance with Canadian Electrical Code and industry standards.

Qualifications



Experience:

Minimum 5 years ongoing in electrical construction, project management, or estimating.

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in blueprint reading, construction software (e.g., Accubid, Bluebeam), and Microsoft Office/Google Apps.

Credentials:

Journeyperson Electrician ticket or degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering (or related).

Knowledge:

Familiarity with Canadian construction codes, standard installation methods, and best practices.

Soft Skills:

Outstanding communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. Able to balance multiple deadlines and priorities.

Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory:

Strong communication skills are required for client and team coordination.
