Exel Systems Inc. is looking for an experienced, dynamic, and motivated Project Manager to work in conjunction with our sales staff, owners, consulting engineers, and contractors. This position will be a key member of our team and will report directly to the Project Manager Lead.

Accountable / responsible for project management of new projects sold by the sales engineers team including coordinating shop drawings, equipment procurement, equipment deliveries, contractor/owner liaison, site coordination and project cost control. Work Co-operatively in a team environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

Co-ordinate shop drawings - coordinate the processing of shop drawings and submit shop drawings in coordination with PM, Sales Engineers and/or GM. Equipment procurement - coordinate the selection, design and ordering of equipment to project and shop drawing specifications with Project Managers, Sales Engineers and/or GM. Equipment deliveries & coordination. Contractor/owner liaison Site coordination Project cost control - Responsible for project cost control including equipment procurement, change notices, project changes and invoicing coordination. On-site equipment start up, inspections, trouble shooting and owner/engineer requested turnover seminars. Assist service group in securing, scheduling and project managing service related jobs.

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in the HVAC industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Highly motivated with a results-driven mindset. A relevant trade ticket, Mechanical Engineering Technologist or P. ENG. designation is a plus.

Pay: $51,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
