(EMC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Medavie Health Services (MHS) that manages and operates ground ambulance, air medical transport and the medical communications operations in Nova Scotia through a performance-based contract with the provincial government's Emergency Health Services (EHS) Operations division and the Department of Health and Wellness. As well, EMC operates TeleHealth/811 medical communications for Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island for the Department of Health.We access all communities in Nova Scotia in a timely and efficient manner with our fleet of more than 180 ambulances and support vehicles operating out of 60+ stations. Apply now to learn more about our service and available positions.*Nature and Scope:Reporting to the Senior Program and Project Manager in the Change Management Office (CMO), the Project Manager (PM) is considered the subject matter expert (SME) on project development lifecycle and methodologies and is responsible for the day-to-day management of projects within EMC. The PM works closely and in collaboration with the project sponsors, end-users, business area leaders, vendors, and IT, providing oversight and consultation on project initiatives.The primary responsibility of the PM is to manage corporate cross-functional projects by: providing leadership, organization and planning, and effective communication. Ensuring all aspects of the project, from initial scope identification to final documentation are completed in a timely manner, according to process and to quality standards and within budget, in accordance with the established scope of work, and to the Sponsor's satisfaction.
