About the Role

We're seeking a Project Manager to oversee structured-cabling and technology-integration projects (CCTV, WIFI, DAS, IoT) in commercial and institutional environments.

You will act as Chermik's onsite representative to general contractors, owner-direct clients, and major electrical contractors, coordinating technical teams, schedules, and budgets while ensuring compliance with project specifications and Chermik's standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Div 27 & 28 projects from initiation to completion. Coordinate network, fibre, security, and A/V installations with electrical and GC teams. Oversee estimating support, change orders, and cost control. Maintain project schedules, documentation, and QA/QC records. Ensure compliance with Chermik's safety and quality standards. Build and maintain strong client and vendor relationships through proactive communication.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience managing communications or low-voltage projects (commercial/institutional). Knowledge of BICSI practices, Div 27/28 specifications, and integration with CSA/CEC requirements. Strong organizational, scheduling, and leadership skills. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project-management software. Technologist Diploma, BICSI RCDD, or similar certification an asset. Valid Class 5 driver's licence and clean abstract.

What We Offer

Benefits: Eligibility for Chermik's group benefits plan after a 3-month probationary period (subject to insurer approval). Hours: Monday - Friday | 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (flexibility required). Location: Edmonton, AB, with periodic site travel.

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
