As a Project Manager - CapEx Projects at Caprivi Solutions, you will lead client implementation projects, ensuring successful adoption of CapEx360. Your engineering background, problem solving skills, and industry experience will enable you to understand the technical and operational realities of capital projects and translate them into effective software configurations and processes.
This is a client-facing leadership role that combines project management expertise with deep knowledge of the capex lifecycle from Ideation, Budgeting, Project Approvals, Forecasting and Project Costing.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end client implementation projects for CapEx360, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
Serve as a subject matter expert on CapEx processes from budgeting to project costing in industries such as automotive, manufacturing, mining, or energy.
Collaborate with clients to gather detailed requirements, map workflows, and align software functionality to business needs.
Oversee project planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Facilitate onboarding, training, and adoption activities to ensure long-term client success.
Work closely with product and technical teams to ensure client requirements are understood and delivered.
Monitor post-implementation performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Mining, Biomedical or others)
Minimum 3 years' experience managing or leading CapEx projects for large employers in the automotive, manufacturing, mining, or energy (non-IT).
Proven track record of successfully managing multi-million-dollar capital projects for large companies.
Strong understanding of the CapEx project lifecycle, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and balance technical, operational, and business considerations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
Employed at large companies in relevant industries for at least 3 years.
Experience implementing enterprise or industry-specific software solutions.
Located in or near the GTA for occasional in-person meetings and the ability to travel overseas occasionally.
