:Metrolinx is connecting communities across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. Metrolinx operates GO Transit and UP Express, as well as the PRESTO fare payment system. We are also building new and improved rapid transit, including GO Expansion, Light Rail Transit routes, and major expansions to Toronto\'s subway system, to get people where they need to go, better, faster and easier. This position includes Third-Party Requirements (TPR) and pre-construction Services (PCS) and reports to the Managers and Senior Project Managers.What will I be doing?

• Oversee opportunities in Project Interface to ensure Properties, Utilities, Permits, Agreements, Environmental, and Traffic are in place as per project requirements and timelines; and coordinated with relevant stakeholders (i.e., Municipalities, Sponsors, Transit Oriented Communities (TOC), Systems, Stations, Advance Tunnel, Technical Advisor (TA)).
• Oversees the project activities to ensure coordination of activities and successful overall project execution.
• Provide assistance in managing Project-wide processes, initiatives, and line-wide strategies.
• Provide assistance in managing Project interfaces between multiple construction contracts.
• Provide assistance in managing the overall project scope, including ensuring proper documentation and implementation of the decisions made through the project governance in the appropriate construction documents.
• Fosters a positive culture and collaborates with Metrolinx\'s other business units, operational divisions, and various internal stakeholders. Communicates effectively with agencies, utility companies, and other external stakeholders to define requirements, develop project implementation plans, and monitor compliance.
• Oversees the review and traceability of multiple contract documents to ensure there are no gaps and identify potential issues and risks, including technical and commercial matters.
• Coordinate multiple complex tasks under pressure to meet schedule and budget commitments.
• Prepares any required processes to facilitate the integration of the many teams to ensure consistency and accountability to the Project leadership.
• Liaise between PCS teams and major stakeholders/senior leadership/commercial/legal to ensure requests and requirements benefit and align with the long-term interests of Metrolinx.

What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?

• Completion of a degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business, Architecture or a related discipline - or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent Engineering or Architectural college/ university degree or diploma
• Demonstrated experience in project management, preferably within the public sector
• Experience working in a Collaborative environment to create a high-performing work culture is strongly desired.
• Experience in project management roles in real estate, planning, building, construction, and/or engineering environments. Knowledge of at least one or more PCS areas (Properties, Utilities, Permits, Agreements, Environmental, and Traffic)
• Organizational, interpersonal and oral/written/presentation communication skills to coordinate complex multi-disciplinary projects under pressure to meet schedule and budget commitments.
• Completion of a degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline or a combination of education, training, and experience deemed equivalent.
• Experience in the Progressive Contract Delivery Model (Progressive Design-Build and Alliance) is an asset.
• Knowledge of construction management practices and principles, including familiarity with claims management, is an asset.
• Prior experience with municipalities and transit agencies is an asset.
• Prior experience with any aspect of design, construction and commissioning of multi-disciplinary transit projects is an asset.
