Position Summary:

With the functional support, guidance and supervision provided by the Program Manager, the Project Manager carries out clerical services as outlined by the Covenant Living Policies and Procedures in all Alberta locations.
Reporting to the Program Manager, Network of Excellence in Seniors' Health & Wellness (NESHW), the Project Manager (PM), Covenant Living, applies their project management expertise to a range of complex, time critical milestones identified as part of the Covenant Living project. The PM will coordinate and lead all phases of the project, including planning, initiating, executing, and evaluation, create key presentations and reports as identified, managing project resources, and support project team members. The PM serves as a central point of contact for internal and external partners and stakeholders involved with the project and will collaborate with stakeholders throughout the project phases. The PM performs duties with competence and professionalism, and demonstrates the mission, vision, and values of Covenant.
This position will:

The Covenant Living Project Manager will be accountable for:
Project Management and Facilitation
Project Planning
Reporting
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required in a health and/or community care or support services
At least three years' project management experience in a clinical or seniors' care setting
Demonstrated leadership and general management skills
Expertise with Microsoft Office (including Excel, MS Project, Visio) required
Familiarity with change management concepts
Sound knowledge of health care delivery
Ability to plan, maintain and analyze information and produce high quality reports and presentations
Ability to effectively present information, expectations, ideas and concepts to a variety of audiences
Sound knowledge of resource management and research methodologies, approaches and
practices
Skilled in strategic/tactical thinking and problem solving
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A high commitment to collaboration and customer service orientation
Creative, innovative as well as comfortable in a team environment
Ability to multitask and lead several different projects
Ability to work under pressure with frequent interruptions and adhere to short timelines in
competing projects
Capable of functioning in an environment of complexity and change
Ability to work with limited supervision
Preferred Requirements:
Certification as a Project Manager, or PMI
Qualitative and/or Quantitative research experience
Knowledge specific to seniors care and community support services.
Business development experience
Working in a multidisciplinary environment which includes team members involved in research and quality improvement activities
Grant report writing experience

This is a temporary, full-time position for approximately one (1) year.
