DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:


Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for various campaigns and initiatives. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and communications, development data, campaigns and donor relations to ensure project objectives are met. Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management. Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time. Facilitate project meetings and provide regular updates to the project team. Collaborate with internal and external partners and service providers to ensure efficient project execution. Support all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Understanding of the importance of documentation, processes and asset management. Ability to create training, documentation and create a system for documentation and asset management control. Required to abide by all Health & Safety protocols, including completing a report for all incidents that occur, including near misses, in a timely manner. All other duties as may be assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS




Post-secondary education in a related field such as project management, business administration, or a similar discipline. A PMP certification would be an asset. High proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello, Monday.com). Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a collaborative spirit. Experience in managing projects in a non-profit or fundraising environment is an asset. Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Teams). Ability to synthesize information from various sources to create informed and accurate project plans. Creative mindset with the ability to generate new ideas and approaches to project management. WORKING CONDITIONS




This job takes place in an office environment, primarily seated at a desktop computer, with frequent meetings in Calgary and in locations across Alberta (occasional travel may be required). Minimal physical effort is required to perform this role on a daily basis, with moderate physical effort required for travel within Calgary. A high level of mental focus is generally required to maintain quality standards and to generate new ideas on a regular basis that support the goals of the position and the organization. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. This position requires the use of a company vehicle. Candidate must have and maintain a valid driver's licence and will need to consent to a driver's abstract request. Local travel, on occasion, may be required within Calgary and the area through the surrounding community and other cities with The Mustard Seed locations. Employees are to be aware that many of our clients may experience difficulties or impairment at times, which could result in them uttering threats, discriminatory statements, and other insults at your person. This may be in a raised voice, or in seeing unpredictable behaviour up to and including the possibility of them becoming aggressive. Training on how to respond is provided, but this is to be considered typical working conditions. Many of our clients are unaware of the impact of these comments.
