Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Manager will perform and manage building science investigations and remediation design and conduct an on-site inspection and reporting services for Pinchin’s comprehensive client base

What you will be doing at Pinchin


  • Manage project work, investigations, building assessments, regulatory instruments, training, and quality assurance
  • Budget creation and adherence, time management, cost tracking, the scope of work definition, proposal preparation and presentation, and report and invoice preparation
  • Assign, collect and coordinate appropriate project resources (i.e. equipment, tools, materials, documentation, people etc.)
  • Organize and conduct project meetings
  • Liaise with clients and other potentially involved stakeholders, including regulators
  • Train, supervise, and schedule technical staff
  • Manage, supervise and coordinate subcontractors
  • Maintain and enhance quality control within the group
  • Liaise with clients to ensure needs, goals, and objectives are addressed and met
  • Participate in business development and marketing to new and existing clients
  • Foster and maintain long-term client relationships


What you bring to the Pinchin team


  • P. Eng. or eligibility for P. Eng. status, or registered Architect
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Thorough knowledge of building science concepts
  • Previous experience with Building Envelope, Parking garages and Balcony assessment and restoration
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Familiarity with invoicing, budgeting, and other areas of project-related financial management
  • Experience with business development initiatives and client interaction
  • A valid driver’s license, insurance, and personal vehicle required
