A Day in the Life of a Project ManagerImagine starting your day with a client whose home has been impacted by a flood or a fire disaster. As the Project Manager, you\'re the person they trust to restore it to its former state. You assess the damage, carefully scope out the work, and prepare an accurate estimate. Throughout the project, you\'re the key point of contact, providing updates to the property owner, adjusters, and insurance companies, making sure everyone is aligned.From managing fire and water damage claims to overseeing rebuilds, your job is to keep things on track, resolve any issues that arise with a calm, professional approach, and ensure timelines are met. Along the way, you build strong relationships that often lead to new business. At the end of the day, you\'ve not only helped restore a property but also reassured your client with your expertise and care.Qualifications
  • Experience in the restoration industry is a MUST
  • Knowledge of Canadian building construction and codes
  • Experience and proficiency with Xactimate software/estimations
  • Budget planning and monitoring experience
  • FULL Valid driver\'s license and a clean criminal record
  • Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Comfortable with physical labor and working in varied environments
