Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to oversee landfill construction projects and provide leadership in
estimating and preconstruction planning
. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with proven leadership skills and the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all phases of landfill construction/ civil projects from planning to completion.
Prepare, review, and manage
project estimates, bids, and cost proposals
.
Coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment, and information.
Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with clients, engineers and subcontractors.
Review and approve technical designs, reports, and construction plans.
Track project performance, identify risks, and implement corrective measures.
Monitor budgets, control costs, and prepare progress reports.
Qualifications
Minimum
5+ years of experience
in civil construction, landfill, or related heavy earthworks.
Demonstrated experience in
estimating and bid preparation.
Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with construction management and estimating software.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
