Project Manager

Our client is searching for a Project Manager to join their team for a 3-6 month contract The successful candidate will oversee managing day to day activities and functions that will impact operations, budgets, personnel, quality control and safety performance of assigned projects. Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Identify key stakeholders; organize and lead engagements to clearly define project scope, budget, goals and outcomes
• Ensure project objectives are well described and consistent with Management\xe2\x80\x99s direction and key stakeholder needs
• Facilitate meetings, conduct project inspections, issue Construction Completion Certificates (CCC), Final Acceptance Certificates and complete project close out
• Act as an internal advisor, providing technical and functional guidance regarding policies, procedures, program implementation and legislation to management and other staff
• Prepare and execute tenders including bid evaluations and contract award and execution
• Perform risk analysis and provide budget recommendations to senior management
• Align and integrate infrastructure project planning and execution with other operational area plans

Your strengths include:

• Degree in Engineering with Professional Engineering Designation or equivalent
• A professional project management designation (e.g., PMP or GSC) is preferred
• 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience managing complex projects
• Experience with project management software
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365 Suite
• Experience working within municipal or public service environment is considered an asset
• Exceptional communication and professional relationship building skills
