Position Profile



The Project Manager supports the effective execution of strategic projects within the Market Access team, ensuring they are delivered on time, meet defined objectives, and align with the association's strategic plan. This role is pivotal in coordinating efforts across departments (such as Communications, Legal, and Government Relations) to promote alignment, transparency, and collaboration on overlapping priorities. The Project Manager also contributes to advancing health policy by tracking progress, removing barriers, and maintaining organized project workflows. In addition, this position assists with stakeholder engagement, event planning, and provides operational and administrative support to the department's Executive Director.

Responsibilities and Tasks



Drives the Market Access team's projects forward to meet deadlines and timelines based on established priorities. Facilitates communication and collaboration between departments (e.g., Communications, Legal, GR) to support integrated efforts and shared initiatives. Supports the successful execution of Market Access projects by tracking milestones, monitoring progress, and ensuring deliverables align with departmental and organizational goals. Plans and executes virtual and in-person event logistics across departments as requested, approx. 15% of capacity. Supports Market Access' Operational Teams in executing research and outreach activities as requested by the Executive Directors. Supports the preparation and drafting of departmental briefing notes, reports, meetings, webinars, and presentations as requested. Other duties may be required as per the direction of the Vice President and Executive Directors.

Qualifications



Education:



A recognized college or university diploma with a specialization in project management, public administration, business, social sciences or other discipline related to the position. Or equivalent work experience to demonstrate capability in fulfilling the responsibilities of the position. Superior English language competence is required and working capacity in French is an asset.

Experience:



Minimum of three years' experience in a coordination or project management capacity in one or more of the following areas: government, non-profit, a trade association, the private sector, health care, research, and the technology innovation sector Demonstrated experience in managing a variety of projects and events in dynamic and fast-paced environments.

Le chef de projet contribue a l'execution efficace des projets strategiques au sein de l'equipe Acces aux marches, en veillant a ce qu'ils soient livres dans les delais, qu'ils atteignent les objectifs definis et qu'ils s'inscrivent dans le plan strategique de l'association. Il joue un role essentiel en coordonnant les efforts de differents services (p. ex., Communications, Affaires juridiques et Relations avec les gouvernements) afin de promouvoir l'alignement, la transparence et la collaboration sur des priorites communes. Le titulaire de ce poste participe egalement a l'avancement de la politique en matiere de sante en suivant les progres, en supprimant les obstacles et en assurant l'organisation des flux de travail des projets. De plus, il contribue a l'engagement des parties prenantes et a la planification des evenements et fournit un soutien operationnel et administratif au directeur executif, Acces aux marches.

RESPONSABILITES ET TACHES



Faire avancer les projets de l'equipe Acces aux marches afin de respecter les delais et les echeances en fonction des priorites etablies. Faciliter la communication et la collaboration entre les services (p. ex., Communications, Affaires juridiques et Relations avec les gouvernements) pour soutenir les efforts integres et les initiatives communes. Contribuer a la bonne execution des projets de l'Acces aux marches en suivant les jalons et les progres et en veillant a ce que les produits livres soient conformes aux objectifs du service et de l'association. Au besoin, planifier et mettre en oeuvre les aspects logistiques des evenements en ligne et en personne dans tous les services (environ 15 % de la capacite). Soutenir les equipes operationnelles de l'Acces aux marches dans l'execution des activites de recherche et de sensibilisation, selon les directives des directeurs executifs. Au besoin, contribuer a la preparation et a la redaction des notes d'information, rapports, reunions, webinaires et presentations du service. Effectuer d'autres taches au besoin selon les directives du vice-president et des directeurs executifs.

COMPETENCES ET EXPERIENCE



Formation



Diplome d'un etablissement d'enseignement superieur reconnu avec une specialisation en gestion de projet, en administration publique, en commerce, en sciences sociales ou dans une autre discipline pertinente, ou experience professionnelle equivalente demontrant la capacite a assumer les responsabilites du poste. Excellente maitrise de l'anglais (exigence) et capacite de travailler en francais (atout).

Experience



Au moins trois ans d'experience a titre de coordonnateur ou de chef de projet dans un ou plusieurs des domaines suivants : gouvernement, organisme a but non lucratif, association professionnelle, secteur prive, soins de sante, recherche et innovation technologique. Experience averee dans la gestion d'une variete de projets et d'evenements dans un environnement en constante evolution.

Capacite a faire preuve de discernement pour etablir des priorites et gerer plusieurs projets et initiatives. Capacite a travailler sous pression et a respecter les delais. Esprit d'initiative et capacite a mener un projet du debut a la fin. Capacite d'adaptation malgre des priorites changeantes et un environnement de travail complexe et dynamique. Esprit d'initiative et competences en resolution de problemes. Capacite a apprendre rapidement de nouveaux dossiers. Competences techniques avancees dans Microsoft Office et Adobe Suite. Excellentes aptitudes a la communication ecrite et orale. Solides competences interpersonnelles et capacite a etablir des relations de travail positives. Capacite a travailler seul et a collaborer efficacement. Standards eleves en matiere de qualite et de productivite, et volonte de toujours continuer de s'ameliorer.
